Spring Fever
I love the beautiful snow all around, but like most people I am ready for spring. It seems like the winter started early
and hasn't let up. Here in Ohio it has been very cold, windy, and snowing more than I have remembered in the past.
The cold has kept us indoors for the most part other than the daily trip out to feed the laying hens. When the snow
came they moved indoors and I know they are looking forward to getting out to do some grazing. While they are inside for the
winter they are enjoying a mix of dried stored grasses and our organic vegetable scraps. We are excited about the upcoming
spring and all the new beginnings it brings. We hope to have our store remodeled and in tiptop condition for the spring planting
season. Also, in addition to our beef, chicken, turkeys and eggs, we are proud to introduce Harvest Hill Veggies. We will
have veggies for sale as well as a limited number of started plants for you to grown in your own backyard. We will be using
heirloom seeds and organic soil material and we will begin saving them for upcoming years and in the future be able to share
with our customers. Upon completion of the store we will begin adding new products to make it more convenient
for our customers and friends to be able to find quality products at a reasonable price. I know what it is like to go to the
supermarkets and having to pay high prices for a more nutritional alternative, such as organic products. I am currently looking
into offering a variety of organic flour and other organic products.

Happy New Year!! I'm very excited for the upcoming year and everything it has to bring. We are adding many new products
